{"id":289,"date":"2016-04-16T02:33:34","date_gmt":"2016-04-15T16:33:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worktime.dynalias.net\/?p=289"},"modified":"2016-04-16T02:33:34","modified_gmt":"2016-04-15T16:33:34","slug":"15-april-2016-oxford-out-and-about","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worktime.dynalias.net\/index.php\/2016\/04\/16\/15-april-2016-oxford-out-and-about\/","title":{"rendered":"15 April 2016; Oxford &#8211; out and about"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our last full day in Oxford was invested with visits to the University Church, The Museum of Natural History, The Pitt Museum of Anthropology &amp; Archeology and The Museum of The History of Science which turned out to be a good plan as it was heavily overcast, rained all day and cold.<\/p>\n<p>The Museums of Natural History and Anthropology &amp; Archeology were overwhelming with many detailed exhibits and plenty of interactive exhibits for young children and school groups.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_291\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-291\" style=\"width: 518px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-291\" src=\"https:\/\/worktime.dynalias.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Museum-of-Natural-History.jpg\" alt=\"Museum of Natural History\" width=\"518\" height=\"345\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-291\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Museum of Natural History<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Museum of The History of Science was a curious collection of instruments, telescopes, microscopes, calculators and various other apparatus used by experimental scientists and educators. In a prominent location over a large fireplace was a section of blackboard encased in a protective cover.
