And once again Team Delta fizzed out before attaining the advantage of altitude … the Russians lost their advantage in the Moon Race much the same way, the N-1 rockets fizzing out .. actually with a mighty bang, something Team Delta cannot lay claim to. So we prepare and go back for seconds… maybe, just maybe more than a second. ‘Tis not important for we have fun, it is okay to not win, we are proud of you for taking part.. memories of being patted on the back at age 5 after coming first in last runner past the line… a prize is awarded, took a few years later to understand what the word ‘consolation’ meant. Cheers 🙂
